Course Overview:
'MIDI: Synthesis and Sequencing' is an introductory course exploring the MIDI protocol and its application in modern music production. Guided by expert Damon Fonooni, students will engage in lectures and hands-on projects, learning the intricacies of MIDI, synthesis, and sequencing in a DAW environment.

Course Objectives:
- Understand and utilize various MIDI messages and control surfaces.
- Create and manipulate MIDI performances within a sequencing environment.
- Apply synthesis principles using virtual synthesizers and sample-based instruments.
- Develop proficiency in effects processing, automation, and composing within Ableton Live.
